I was going to do a piece on spring jackets (still to come) - the trenches, the swings, the acceptable fleeces - but came across this adorable jacket and stopped in my tracks. It took about 4 repeated looks (each one got better), some mental calculation about the price (not bad at all) and a quick mental try-on with all the pants in my dresser (A-OK), but after about 10 minutes, I decided I would be thoroughly unhappy without this coat in my closet. Order: placed!
